Kharra Dodging Tactics

Varied between situation?
Is skulk dodging varied? Would you use different type of dodges in a different position.

A: Would you jump while dodging or strafe left and right while moving forward in an effort to close the distance?
B: Do you circle strafe when you come to the person or forward strafe to jump off him and come back in an effort to throw his tracking?
C: In an ambush corner position do you want to rush around to the corner giving the marine little to no distance for him to dodge while also serving to surprise him or make him feel off guard in an overall effort to slow his tracking or make him mis completely?
D: Would you consider going above a marine to be the best 'juke' spot or would going under/in a map made vent the best option?

What type of dodge do you use and in what type of situation. I personally have my own set of 'moves'or things that I do to close distance if assualting or ways to mislead someones tracking if they happen to 'lock on'.

I have area-map specific strats that I like to use so I guess it all depends where the marines are and take it from there. Vents however are usually my first means of closing distance, if there are none available I lately run on the ceilings

For ambush tactics I'm still trying to get used to the skulk rotation, i.e. there were great ambush spots in 1.04 that could'nt be used because 'rines could still see your legs, this is no longer a problem. You'll be surpised how many spots with hardly any cover can now be used for hiding with the new rotation.

bhop side to side, climb wall to ceiling to zig zag to wall etc

I've found that with the higher hp and armor of the skulk, wearing your opponent out is a good way to go. I basically bounce around like a hyperkid in a padded cell until he runs out of ammo. Then I bolt for him. If he draws his pistol I can hear it, and quickly start dodging again. Once he's emptied that too, he has to reload either weapon or switch to his knife. In any case, I'll go for him. Killing a knifing rine is easy once you've done it a few times and figured out how. Of course, this is not an ideal tactic, but I prefer surprising my enemy anyway.

If you are in a position where you have to dodge, mad bhpoping skillz helps a lot..

watch some Europeon clans ifyou want to see lots of bunnyhopping, its insane.

Some people can do a virtual leap with 1 bunnyhop with celerity.

The rotating skulk model is so freaky looking the marine has little chances of actually hitting you when you wallclimb. Spiral a bit (wallrun + ceiling strafe) and your enemy will probably lose his lock on you.

Fades can dodge too. You can try short blinking leaps making marines deplete their clips so you can nail them with less risks.

I rely almost solely on stealth when I'm a skulk, so I'll use Silence most of the time, but I can still get my speed up b-hopping, even without Celerity. One leap + b-hop = you going really damn fast. I will probably never try to attack a marine head-on unless I know he wasted a lot of his bullets shooting at someone else. If I get shot at by a guy who's too far away, I'll probably try to pull my **** outta the fire by leaping around the nearest corner.

If you run slightly up a wall and down again, it looks like you are rolling... similar to the animation of when a skulk gets killed.

I've been fooled as a marine plenty of times, by skulks that I thought I had killed, and then they carried on coming at me!!!

Celerity+circling, I can get marines this way even if I rush a long corridor to them. Lmg's run out of ammo, shotguns just dont hit, pistol neither and gl, you kidding me? The hmg has the best chances, but I usually kill those too. A ha is alot harder, but a lone ha sg/gl/lmg is quickly eaten.
