Hello peoples!!!
This is my first map for ns (not my first for halflife though) just wanting some feedback on these couple of screenshots. Also some ideas for gameplay wouldnt go astray, as I dont really play ns that much, i also need a name

Its coming along good, although I dont think I like the overuse of the 'nos_vertpanels' texture. It looks fine on the stairs but try using a different texture on the supports. Also make the glows bigger. Try and add some special architecture to the ceiling as well so theres places for the skulks to hide <---- gameplay

get some light coming off of those computer screens.

Pretty nice map, but all the screenies are hallways, so I cant really leave much feedback about it... <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

looks pretty nice, but in the first two screenies the walls are bland. Try adding pipes running through, or computer screens, or even a window or two.

It looks nice. However, it doesnt look like there are many places for skulks to hide, and the corridors are marine friendly.

I really like the looks of that. It might be a bit too dark though. what is your env_gamma set to? I love how you can run underneath the floor there (at least it looks like you can).

my env_gamma at the moment is set to 1.7

atm I am not sure if the skulls can run underneath, but i will make it possible, Ireally should start playing a bit of ns to get the feel for it though.

Could use a little more cover. I'd be terrified going down that hallway as a skulk. I like the color theme though, and I'm also fine with the texturing. More turns in the hallway would be good... and definitely more cover. You could make the hallway narrower, and then add struts from time to time. Not just decoration, struts should be able to let a skulk hide.

Narrower, more claustrophobic spaces are the key though, in general. You can widen up a little near the marine start of course, but further out, it should get tighter and tighter.

For the halo around the lights: Did you use rendermode additive for a reason? Rendermode glow was espacially coded for the single reason of simulating glowing lights. It keeps it's size when you walk away while fading out and it does not get cut off by geometry.
    Good looking start though.
