<div class="IPBDescription">2.0 owns stop complaning</div> 1.Over the past few days/weeks I have had some of the best NS experinces of my life. People are learing to work together. Marines are realizing that They have to stick together. People are lisiting to the COMMANDER "MOST OF THE TIME". I have only lost 1 out of about 28. games when I have command and don't say that ALIENS were prolly noob considering I play on all NS SERVER. No we didn't get lucky. NO i didn't spawn camp or HMG SG rush them. No i didn't exploit. We used team work that is what it is. Teams when they have a commander that Give them Waypoints and instuctions are starting to listne so much more. ALiens are too easy now. I don't know how you guys can say they are winning so much. They are not.

2. I have had some of the most Dramatic games as well. Hives going up under my nose a few time. LOL "MY BAD stupid sens chamber <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->" Aliens came back from 1 hive to 3 under my watch "THEY WERE INSTATNLY Blasted to Peices when i saw Lerks shooting Umbra thankfully. Also have has some really good back and Forth games. But overall games are just more interesting now. I try to slit the aleins throat as soon as possiable and end it. I try not to draw it out.

Note: The reason why ALiens win 6v6 is the game is not meant to be played like this. You need to devide ALiens attention and with 6v6 it is fairlt hard to do that considering a Marine Squad Needs about 4 people per squad

What are your opions?

First, please learn to spell, at least a little. This isn't in-game, you can spare 10 seconds to reread your post (if that's even possible, it's SO painful).

Second, the fact that you <!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->play on all NS SERVER<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd--> doesn't mean anything. Most servers have limited teamwork on the 'liens, because they're used to pushover 'rines. In addition, the game IS unbalanced, which you would know if you bothered to consider early tech rates, or watch some demos of clan on clan luvin'.

<!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->The reason why ALiens win 6v6 is the game is not meant to be played like this. In addition, I don't see how this is a fair point at all. We know that 1.0x was designed for 6v6, and while 2.0 is far better at 8v8 now than 1.0x ever was, your logic seems flawed. First, at the moment, this inbalance at 6v6 is based on problems with alien tech speeds, which are of course countered by huge numbers of 'rines (since they share their res pool). Second, squads do not require 4 people, and, in fact, I prefer squads of 2-3 unless I'm using heavies in a massive assault as it's a more flexible system (think manipular legion versus phalanx). They're still effective, as long as they have proper equipment/upgrades... If there is a particularly difficult area, just merge squads, smash, and split up afterwards.

This is blatantly untrue. I would guess that most playtesters feel 8v8 is about appropriate for an NS game, which was also true of 1.0x. 6v6 was an arbitrary number, chosen by CAL, based primarily on the fact that CAL CS matches are 6v6.

6 V 6 is actually the number that people in CAL actually want in matches, there was recently a vote on the increasing the number to 7 v 7 or 8 v 8 , but people voted to keep it at 6v6

CAL cs matches are 5v5, even though all of us know we'd prefer 7v7 or 8v8 I dont think its feasible for scrims and whatnot, most teams have enough trouble getting 6.

    cal cs is 5v5

*sniffles* I realize 8v8 is appropriate NOW, but I read that 6v6 was standard (I guess motivated by CAL's choice). Bah humbug.

Anyways, 6v6 is perfectly playable. 'Nuff said. And I still love you coil, even if you just kicked my arse. <!--emo&--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo-->

Maybe because, unlike you, we aren't playing incompetent Aliens that don't work together?

Yeah, I've played on CoFR for atleast 4, or maybe even 5 rounds, and the point is, the marines never win.

Ever. No matter how much teamwork is evolved. No matter how aggresive we are and how many resource towers get up.

The second hive goes up so fast it's ridiculous.

We have maybe 3 nodes, one turret farmed, the others bare, and some stupid gorge is bile bombing us from some vent which we can't weld, and destroying any chance of victory.

Right now, I'm blaming the imbalance on res for kills. Why is it needed anyways? I'd love to see a 2.01b patch that removes res for kills. Just to see how it plays.

I love playing aliens, but's it moring boring as you're assured victory, and the teamwork in 1.04 is gone.

How bout making both sides team oriented?

Anyways, I'm having some wicked games too, but the game falls apart on competive matches.

Well I wouldn't say Marines *never* win (saw a couple in a row today), but I agree with you in general. No matter how much they try, it's still up to the Aliens to mess it up if they are to have a chance.

Aliens bore me now, so now I <i>TRY</i> to mess up and see if we still win. And guess what? We still win!
