The Effectiveness Of Turrets:

They're good but not THAT good
Turrets are dead aims now but they're not as tough as you may credit them for. This works well for turret farms of about 3 or 4 turrets. A single loan skulk can run up to a turret and bite about half of it before death. Depending on its location the turret you are biting will actually block other turrets trying to shoot you.

Of course this falls to pieces when there are tons of turrets or marines gaurding it, but for those small outposts designed to defend one nozzle it works quite well, well enough to open up a blind spot in the TF.

Farms are the hard part,a small turret base (say 3-8) would be simple to take on,but when it comes to 15+ youre gonna need a whole lot of teamwork and luck to break.

BTW turrets fall more easily than they did in 1.04,lower health

    EDIT it's turrets not turrents

It's not the turrets that are the problem, ever. It's the marines guarding them

Patience + Time > Turret farm

I'd love to know how the hell the letter n keeps creeping into the word "turrets". N is nowhere near the other letters, on the keyboard, it's not like it's a simple mis-spelling ("loan" instead of "lone", for example). This one's got me stumped.

Maybe they actually pronounce it 'turrent' IRL...
