Ideally the marines spawn should be not where the CC is but down the ramp from there and in that main bit, then remove the big central thing from that room and you have 3 doors leading off from the marine spawn, one doesn't go any where (node could go there) one goes off to unnamed, and finally the one that leadsto mess hall.

Good luck on remaking nancy! One of my favourite maps definitely.. and ns 2.0 just doesn't feel complete without it. I'm sure you have the old ns_nancy as a guide to make it as identical to your version as possible. Good work so far and keep it up.
I was talking with him through PMs for a while about this and after I gave him an idea, he then started saying he wanted to make it all by himself.
-He said he wanted to name it ns_bell instead and dedicate it to some girl. -I said that I was hoping we could keep it as nancy and then when it's complete hand it over to DevilDog so he can continue working on his map.

ok like i said to you i wanted to complete a map fully for once, so wouldnt it make sense to actually start small like i am "remaking" , then work to bigger things. Why dont you work for about 2 months then hand it over to devildog then you wanted to make it so why dont you waste all that time for nothing. I wated to do it as im gaining more and more experience when i do it. Yeah but you can play nancy in 2.0, you don't have to have perfect memory. But there are issues, onos get stuck anywhere when they have gestated, you cannot be onos at all on the map. Otherwise it still works.
Also the textures are availabe without any problem.

It is SO EASY to just load up the map, look around add more to the map and repeat. Either that or take screenshots. Memory isn't needed. Just because of some onos stuck issues doesn't mean the map is unplayable with 2.0.
Personally, I don't about you guys, but if my map was lost, and people love it that much that they want to recreate it <i>from scratch, no less</i> I'd be pretty happy. I dunno, that's just me. Just put a credits thing in the RR, saying something like "original creator - devildog remade by - ozbirdboy"

"inspired by the work of devildog" or something like that.
Then you give credit, make the doubters half-assed happy, and have yer own map!

No, see I WANT to see this thing done. But for ozbirdboy to ask for help and get me all excited about helping with the mapping and then have him tell me "nah i wanna do this all by myself instead" seems kind of greedy. The point in recreating nancy is not personal achievement, it's about bringing back one of the best ns maps ever. If you wanna complete a map by yourself, complete a map by yourself. If you wanna recreate a map for the community, get as many people on the job as possible so it actually gets recreated. Leave the changes up to DevilDog. Flayra gave his email.
