<div class="IPBDescription">it doesnt seem to work</div> i have a pit in my map with a trigger_hurt at the bottom but when i jump down i dont get hurt by it it just makes my player shake has anyone got any ideas why this happens?
am i doing it wrong?
i set the damage to 100
damage type to ENERGYBEAM
everything else i left blank

Incidently, Skulks are not damaged at all by trigger_hurt's set to 'fall' damage type (Just sharing that information for everyone's benefit).
i tried a gorge a skulk and a rine an they jus bouce around
Try changing the damage type to generic.
I think that the damage types are implemented by the programmer, i.e. sets death anim, changes the console death message. I don't know if that is true, but I think that is what it is.
And it won't matter what type of damage that you use, because currently all death messages say that "<Player> was killed by trigger_hurt" (Or something like that).
