<div class="IPBDescription">Adminmod plugin</div> I use this plugin on my servers, its great to know what their doing without having to go throught 1000's of lines of logs.

This allows you to log all Admin commands to a text file, just in case you are suspicious that your admins are abusing their powers. It can either log to file, or tell you when your in the server what the other admins are doing.

    I have written something better. Its called My Half-Life Admin (HLA). And it features MySQL logging of all actions each individually triggered by a logging flag so you can easily log only specific actions. And its got something even sweeter. Its embedded IRC bot which sits in your channel, which also has its own set of logging flags for the channel. So everyone in your channel could instantly witness bans, kicks, slays and so on.

    I have a working Linux binary of HLA for those willing to assist in beta testing. Currently all redphive.org gaming servers run it, as well as the Offical nsRadio server. Roll on into #nsradio to see this IRC bot in action.

    Some Features:

    - Global ban list ala MySQL (if you run multiple servers)
    - Threaded MySQL queries (no lag)
    - Threaded IRC bot (no lag)
    - Extremely flexible logging
    - Fully database driven
    - Membership driven server (track playtimes of players not just admins!)

    And example of the very simple CGI I have written to interact with the MySQL database can be viewed here:

    I always thought the solution to abusive admins is to not make them admins in the first place/remove their administrative rights...

    Does HLA work in all HL Mods? My NS Server was dead, so i switched to Science & Industry. I would be really interested in beta testing. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Some of my guild mates run servers for us, NS and Specialists, the servers are in canada in the US.
