Here was the situation. I was a Onos just outside marine start. I guess the Marines figured they had lost so they start spamming grenades, it was nades non-stop. The whole screen was shaking the whole time. I would hang out of range and **** anyone who came near but I wouldnt go near base all due to the nade spam. We eventually won cause someone I think broke through miraculously but is there anyway to handle this situation??

Get cara and adren, blink into view, lob 5 rockets, kill, the gls or hurt them (distracting them is main priority), blink back, and heal at dc's or field medic gorge.
Scent of fear helps immensely.
So you get two skulks, each with carapace and celerity. At the some moment, they rush in and xeno right next to the armory. If the spammers are lights, this kills them. If they're heavies, it knocks them way the heck away from the armory. The onos cue on the xenos and rush in (regen onos, please). Lerks spam umbra, gorges bile. Base goes down in seconds.
Even though you manage to pull an xeno off, the GL will just be re-picked.
The onos is blocked by +20 turrents and honestly, the fade is damn weak
Of course it was aproaching 3 hours and people were willing to listen to any sort of plan.

As soon as I get the resources for fade, I go fade....blink into the almost-always-empty-marine-start, and swipe the node. I do it untill they give up. This especially helps with endame. Resource starvation prevents GLs
Weapon drop makes marine defence ridelusly powerful for a small amount of res. If your pinned in your base all you hafta do is buy a GL or two and they last for the rest of the game on defence, cause when you die 4 feet from the inf portal, your weapon is going to get picked before it fades out. so with about 100 res you could lock down your base for hours
This topic has been done to death, OMG today is repeat day, my mind can't take these threads about things that had threads last week.
Sorry
