Marines Pwnz Aliens Since Day1

<div class="IPBDescription">huh!?</div> I joined this forum in december 2002, Just to post that Marines were much stronger then aliens, and then, I was flammed by 20484933 people saying that all the servers they were playing on the Aliens were winning, <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

took a coupld of months for those <!--emo&::nerdy::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/nerd.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd.gif'><!--endemo--> to realise that one marine on version 1.0, 1.03, 1.04 could pwn a whole aliens team.
On new versions, 2.0 its much better, I guess its because experienced NS players were soo forced to play as a team on previous versions, that it gave the impression that now Aliens are overpowered.
Im not too sure about that, so far Iv saw many, many, many games lasting 2 hours or more when the marines had time to upgrade weapons and armors, and turret farm their base.
Onos and Fades are by far too weak to compete vs fully upgraded heavies camping a base.
Im not saying its stilll very unbalanced, its much better then previous versions, some small changes might make it a lil better, for i.e. FADES could be as strong as they use to be on previous versions. Right now a fade dies in 2 seconds, and his special wepaon is all about running away <span style='color:white'>watch your mouth.</span>

The balance is much much closer now but I do think the current advatage is to the aliens. Once early alien game expansion is dealt with, either in tactics or in patched versions, then you will see a very balanced game.
