Skulk Wall Alignment Code Or Model?

<div class="IPBDescription">lil Q</div> hey guys sorry if this has been asked before dont trawl models much anymore.. but yeah is the way skulks align to walls code withint he game? or does it involve animations..

in short.. can i use the 1.04 Al|iens runner alien thing as a skulk and will is rotate as normal?

    you canm use 1.04 models no prob (just some of the animations will bugger up)

    cos i can imagine that runner alien replacement.. being on the ceiling looking down at you...

    Actually you should be able to try a simple convert of your Alien model. You can try decompling your model of choice, your Runner, then decompile a 2.0 skulk in a seperate folder. Try overwriting all the animations from the skulk, EXCEPT it's refrence.smd, whatever it may be named. So all the animations you need, like dying, running, etc. those should go in. Then open up the Skulk ref.smd in notepad, scroll down and copy all of the animations. Then open your Runner's ref.smd, and paste all the new animations over the old ones. If done properly, it should all recompile correctly. If compiled correctly, it should look fine and dandy in HLMV and in-game! And if not...then it gets into the hard converting....which I don't know.. Just pray to god the bones match up still.     Its definatly code... I've ran NS through the main menu console a few times, only to find out when I tested the 3rd person exploit (just to get some screen caps, I don't run it online.. to hard to aim) that the models don't change while playing in single player.. I had a marine running on the celing on his knees... because the rest of his feet went though the floor, of course...
