2) .. aliens .. as opposite to 1.04 now can actually be the aggressive side from the start .. this is all new..
as well as having the upper hand instead of waiting for an attack
(both in getting res noods and map controll)
3) ALOT of new ppl out there.. so dont say unpowered there or here.. before u get 2 equally good teams facing eachother..
4) Skilled players can make huge diff in games.. so dont base your oppinions from that and how good that or this thing are.. see 3..
4) New maps and new tactics .. see 123 and add .. players need to learn new maps and new good ways to advance..
5 Alien upgrades (chambers) now is all 3 viable.. see 1234

Like in the tournaments where the aliens are winning 9 out of 10 matches? Maybe you should form a clan and show all those 'n00bs', eh?
Why don't people see this happening with aliens as well??
More early res than 1.4, more chamber options than 1.4, rfk changes allowing for new strats (feeding an early onos). The aliens are still learning their game as well! I look forward to the day of commanding a crack marine unit, but I'm deathly afraid of facing an organized alien team. Their units are so much more 'support based' than the standard marines it's scary. What happens when people truly understand spores, blink, umbra, def/sens/mov chambers? (I'm not saying I do, but the potential for strats is intimidating)
I don't see any new revelations as far as the marines go, just a matter of organizing them. Perhaps the aliens are just starting out...
My question is how many years of playing version 2.0 have to pass before you finally admit it is unbalanced.
Despite what you may think it does not take 3+ weaks for people to figure out how to play a new game and if it is balanced or not (it may take you this long, but I assure you that I and many other people only need a fraction of this amount of time).
