My cdkey was somehow banned. (I NEVER CHEAT OR HACK)
Now, it doesnt work on a lot of server, espec CLAN SERVERS!
Why?
It said I was banned till 2008 or something!!!
WHY?
Is this the work of VAC / Clanmod <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
Is there any way to write to valve to get myself unbanned?

You were probably using cheating death at the time.
As you probably know cheating death is an anti cheating program. IT IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH VAC!!!!!
If you do try to join a server protected by vac when you have c-d on, you will get an error message saying you should abort the connection.
You probably didnt see that message and continued. Then when you connected, VAC thought that you were cheating because it didnt recognize c-d and banned you till 2008.
The LEGAL way to play online is to buy another Copy of Half-lfie or DOD or CS.
There are other ways.....but im not sayin them cause i could get banned from these boards.....

Sure ive burned some games (who hasent?) but unlike lots of other game companys out there Sierra deserves your half-life money. They work there **** off. I would probably email you about the "other stuff" for almost every game except half-life.

is there any way I can contact VALVE to get unbanned from VAC or possibly request a new CDKEY?
I find it funny you think you have the right to choose which companies you steal from and which you don't.
A thief is a thief. You may think its ok because you are stealing it from a company you think is bad but that don't make it right. If the game is good enough for you to steal and play then the people who made the game deserve the money your cheating them out of.

If you want something to try I would suggest emailing valve asking for a new CD Key. Give a full explenation of your problem and make sure you send it to the right place (just look through their web page). You will also probably be asked for proof of purchace (thwey will tell you)
You probably have a decent chance of gettign a new one. Primarily b/c CDkeys don't cost em squat, specialy seeing how as cheating again will simply get you rebanned.

Ehh I don't agree they "Deserve" my money because games are vastly over-priced (Then they wonder why people pirate games) Simple fix for this is buy half-life for 10 bucks and never do what you did again
