<div class="IPBDescription">Being green is easy for hud text</div> Apparently Kermit's song doesn't apply to my HUD <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
On both aliens and marines, all popup help and hud text (hive names, ammo recieved messages, etc.) show up green. You can tell the game is fighting it sometimes, as it'll show up blue/yellow for a second and then change back to green. Oddly, chat text is the proper color (blue/yellow names, orange text), but all the yellow in the scoreboard has turned green (the alien half of it)
Anybody else have this problem or have a fix? Running NS on a 9700 Pro, windowed, 1024X768, win2k.
I'll give fullscreen mode and updating drivers a shot right now, but I doubt it'll help...

Damn green text.
Also, my health and energy bars are dimmed almost to the point where I can't see em.
Reinstalling doesn't fix (no i didn't reinstall half-life...)

EDIT:...seems like it's the very first in the .txt. Go to your Half-Life\ns directory, and find "titles.txt" there. Open it. Should be visible immediately, although im not sure this does the desired action, I'll test it right now.
EDIT2: Or not. It seems only able to change transparency(and that's between nothing and normal), at least for me.
oh... <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo--> well..that's dumb.
i kinda like my 2 monitors.. and i don't terribly <b>want</b> to have to turn it off when i play ns..
i use my second monitor to have a Gametiger player search on constant refresh for people wearing my clan tag...
and the only time when i really need a second monitor is WHILE i'm playing games <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
sorry mate.
hehe, quick solution would be to drag in an elcheapo comp and plug it in to the second moniter for game tigger purposes <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
.. and before anyone suggests I instead run 2 monitors off the el-cheapo comp ... i don't have an extra video card to do so. both monitors on my primary comp are running off of one video card.
seems i've run out of options... PLUS.. now ns just up-and-closes on me for no apparent reason.. so the green thing isn't much of an issue now, seeing as i can't play the game <b>at all</b>, laf.
for now I would suggest disabling the second moniter and seeing if NS will run at all
if not then come back and start a NEW thread with all your info again, and SPECIFIC about this ctd, k? thanks
