Okay you Marine commanders, stalemates suck, and you know it.
Why have I brought it up?
Because I got sick and tired of them. I finally go back to commanding ( I quit doing it a long time ago)and suffered throught my 50 bajillionth long endgame, I was getting sick of it, so I went ahead and recycled the IPs. Sure some people were mad, but I REALLY hate stalemates. Maybe I was just a bit selfish in the end, but being commander, I think I should have that option to do so.
Anyways, moments later I was banned. gg.
So, do you think that was a good move, or was it a mistake in the end?

Yes, I do this myself sometimes when there's an unfair stacking of players on the opposing team and it is early game - or sometimes in endgames when there's no way to win and it gets boring for everybody (not just me). BUT I have at least a clan tag on and do this only on my clan server, and not very often at that. The difference is that I have the required status that keeps me unbanned, and that I ask others first.
If you know you're losing, don't build more turrets! Hand out shotties, and make a desperate break for one of their hives instead. Or the doubleres. Make all run for it, break through their defenses and tear those hives down!
It's probably going to fail, but it does not matter. It's a better chance than staying in base with a turretfarm stalemate that the Aliens finally will break.
Besides, it's faster, it gives the marines some action, it's way more fun, and it often ends in a GG.
So, yes, it is your job as a commander to avoid stalemates. You will lose those anyway, slowly but surely.
Now to get myself unbanned! T_T
Ummm, NO? What the heck, thats one of 2.0s major problems is people leaving when the tides turn. I'd appreciate it if you didn't encourage Llama playing. Yes, I've recycled IPs to, and for the most part my team understands its just a game and not the end of the world. Its either hole up in a vent and wait for skulks to try and end it or just stop beating the dead horse and end it. What you did is fine. As long as you ask your team first. 3-4 yes's outweigh the NO's
I dunno. It usually doesn't happen to me, when I command.
even if its a stalemate, the com shd work on getting more RTs n finally killing hives... how bout farming towards their hive?
haha tats lame, n not very posible tho.
Recycle the TFs and the Armory!
Then pass out SGS like MAD!
PPL will be mad, but not as mad as if you end the game unfairly for them.
Damn, it feels good to say a bunch of bs
