<div class="IPBDescription">does anyone play as a team anymore</div> Just now, on a round of about 6 vs 6 on mineshaft, i was the only alien to gorge at the beginning to drop res. I thought fine, they just must be saving for chambers and a hive, no big deal. So i went on to the double res and secured it. At about this time someone on my team demanded I drop DCs so he'd get his redemption for the onos he was saving for. "Oh, and get a hive so i can stomp, and we need more res too." I said, "one gorge can't do everything unless you want to still be playing the same round in 2 hours." So i ignored his demands for DCs and kept getting res. In a few minutes he said "Hey gorge wheres the hive and DCs?" I said, "How about you drop them with your 85 res and be a team player?" Another member of my team then said, "<b>It's not like aliens need to be a team to win</b>."
Then our first hive in Sewer (as i had given up and dropped a 2nd hive in Tram Tunnel AND 3 DCs) came under attack. I was in Tram putting up OCs and i thought, my "team" would save it. Noone was moving as a watched the hivesight. They were all sitting outside the marine spawn waiting to get kills. After about 2 minutes of constant "Your hive is under attack/dying, we lost it. The same person from before yelled, Stupid gorge, way to defend the hive! You made us lose." he starts a vote to kick me and i get kicked.
Why does everyone want to be "the guy to save for onos"?
just venting some frustration.

I meen, it is generaly the most rewarding class for me
but that is b/c I play SensMoveDeff thus I get wonderfull surprise effects on those silly rines

I don't know, I havn't actualy been having that much of a problem with stupid players, I normaly can get atleast one other smart person to gorge with me and let the rest of the team do as they chose, but in doing so they will have to deal with my SMD <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> (sooo funny to watch em scream for deff so they can devour and redeam, NO DC FOR YOU!! <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->)
Aliens are much smarter useing the res to get 3 hives up and then go fade. Acid Spam still owns everyone and slash attack is the bomb. With metabolize there is no need for DTs on second hive so you can opt for the adren and own it up.
People that are kill **** should have long figured out that lerk is the best kill whoreable alien class. You can sit in a vent by marine base and spore kill in the first 5 minutes of the game.
I think everyone else gave the best advice i can give for you fatty, leave the server. find one that uses teamwork. Probably the best thing to ever happen was for you to get kicked from that nub server.
Many people are still stuck in the 1.04 frame of mind. One gorg and everyone else goes big and fights. They havent figured out that unless everyone works together at the start to take over the map, onos in the end do little good against HA/HMG warriors.
Unfortunately, the high concentration of idiots is now starting to diffuse across all servers.
I kicked some people for refusing to play as a team when CONTINUALLY asked to, they bitched and moaned like no tommorow, but thats what you get. You play as team on my server, or you don't play at all.

Most servers i play on the players will usually get 4+ rt's , some chambers,go back to skulk and save for oni/fade/hive.

2. Speak to your teammates and tell them to go to the hive.
3. Gorges are expendable in 2.0, by all means use a mov chamber to get to the hive and spam some OC's, DC's healspray whatever it takes (but shout to your team first). If you die you die but at least you've slowed the marines down enough for the 'team' to get there.
