I don't know how many have heard of <b>eXperience 1</b> since the thread got closed down due to some lame **** who started flaming.

This new little baby weighs in at about 17MB (PACKED! 23MB unpacked!) contrary to her little sister <b>eXperience 1</b> which was a light 6MB.

I made this little (!) picture/wallpaper thingy to show off some of the stuff included in the pack. You can see the HA skin, marine skin, high poly weapons, new health bars for aliens, the U2 Duster in the hands of a marine in the bottom left of the image, the new muzzleflash, a commander HUD (in which you can barely see the new minimaps with abbreviated sector names) <b>AND</b> a very funny screenshot at the top left. I do NOT know what that gorge is doing. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

Although this is only a third of what's in here. Lots of things you cannot see are included, like Marr's incredible ambient and voice pack along with lots of other sound replacements, just to make your NS <b>so damn cool</b>. Of course all fixes to sprites and whatever else made by guys at this forum are included here.

<b>eXperience 2</b> will be coming your way hopefully this evening (GMT+1, Scandinavian time) if everything goes well.
A nearly perfect list of credits is included when released, of course.

    By guessing that you actually read my post I take it that this reply was sarcastic, right?

    The point is not to bring something entirely new to the scene. It's to include all kinds of (in my opinion) great stuff that I've found everywhere so that others won't have to look for it.

    I can see two diffrences from that "screenshot".

    1. The muzzleflash is blue. This makes it futar, apparently.

    2. the HUD looks diffrent.

    Otherwise, it looks exactly the same to me. Of course, I'm not one to count the polies on models and then complain if they aren't perfect, I just play.

    Actually, it has some different marine models that look much better than the standard ones.

    Not to mention, the sounds...my god, the ambience becomes REAL NS once you put those in. I mean, my god, its incredible, the ambient sounds.

    just look at the helmet of the rine...and the shoulders...and pretty much every single part that looked
    blocky/odd on the standard models...


    Oh and the sounds are already available IIRC...

    right click,
    save as...,
    open in pretty much any image editor there is,
    zoom.

    The HA and Marine have new skins...

    New Muzzle Flash

    New Aline Building Health Sprites

    High Poly P and W models...

    if you dun belive me, open up HLMV and look at HA / Marine next to the screen, you'll see the difference then.

    i would use this...but wasnt there a thing where jetpackers could get farther if they had a better framerate? and leap could kill?

    Was this takin out? if it was then i would download it =p

    My comp aint the best out there...mostly due to my old video card (rage 128 32mb pro) i get like 60 fps and when around a lot of building and stuff i go down to maybe 40....

    The skin changes on the heavy are minor (not to mention, I think Fam made the skin first...), and the normal marine skins are simply a modified version of an old skin I saw somewhere else, but hey, still nice.
