It might be Freddy Vs. Jason. I know it's dumb. That's why I want to see it. I need a good laugh.
Once Upon A time looks ok although I cant figure out if its a remake of El mariachy again or if its part 2 to desperado (which was a remake of el mariachi) or what? the Knife tossing guy who died in desperado is back, and so are the main charachters band mates... go figure...
Jhonny Depp will own anything hes in anyway!
nothing else looks thatt good
28 days later was awesome I saw it last week
EDIT: Ohh holy crap shoot me in the face for forgetting UNDERWORLD (or warewolf the apocolypse for anyone that knows) I used to Free form RP on Prodigy Classic in chat rooms based off of WTA (warewolf the apocolypse) and now they finally made the movie... cant fargen wait
thats where GreyPaws came from BTW he was Garou with Silver Klaw and Kanagroo Jump ability, I played him for 4 years until Prodigy decided to cancell the classic chat (may they burn in hell)
Well, at the movie theater, *edit* I was wrong *edit* the third installment of the Matrix . I'm not much into spending $6-7 for a ticket to a movie that I have no guarantee of liking, although I have been known to do it

Well, I would like you all to discuss the films you want to see and why... Then people can say if it's good or not, etc. It's just something light-hearted to discuss.

haha LoTR2 was actually a really good movie... LotR 3 should be even better!!! if you read the books you know what I mean.... all i can say for those who haven't read the books is GO READ THEM (they skipped alot of the major parts... tom bombadil for one) and for those who arent gonna read them all im gonna say is be prepared for a shocking ending (nobody say anythign)
meh im not a big matrix fan but ill prob see it i wanna see swat tho

You missed out on the Grave-wraiths, the proper reason for going that way, etc.
That doesn't mean I didn't ENJOY both movies (Hell I love em to death), it's just that I didn't enjoy the transgression from book to film. It wasn't unexpected though. How the hell do you convert the opus of Lord of the Rings into movies under 10 hours long a piece? Peter Jackson managed superbly, but the purist in me just can't enjoy the conversion from book to film ^_^
The books always better ;p

-Grave wraiths missing? -Tom Bombadil missing? -"Mr Smith" as an elf? -Ents?! They were stupid looking and way too small -The cave ogre looked...well it didn't look like Tolkiens Ogre -The way Aragorn banished the nazguls. Director could've taken the liberty of making the scene more logical -The flying monster in the end of two towers. It didn't have a head! Dumb looking thing. -Orcs climbing on the walls...duh -"Comedic" scenes: Gimlis one-liners, legolas riding with the shield, Aragorn throwing gimli around. *sigh* -The fight between Saruman and Gandalf *sigh* When I go to see LotR, I don't want to laugh. Especially at scenes that are not supposed to be funny. -I know it's from LotR books but Aragorns, Gimlis and Legolas' fighting skills are a tad too good against the Orcs. I mean only the three of them must've killed couple of hundred Orcs without getting a scratch. Fantasy...
I'm sure I forgot something but I'll update the list when I remember.
Confusing, too important parts missing. It followed the book too much in places where director should've done his own thing and took own liberties in places that should've been straight from the book. Though I'm not saying I didn't enjoy the movie. I was just waiting for something far better
Mexico (el mariachi), but most likely it'll be matrix 3. Saw Pirates last week, it was awesome. Just a plain ol' "fun" movie.. Hope it's movie of the summer, and not one of those worthless films that everyone Text Messaged(SMS'ed) warnings to their friends about.

Kill Bill (October) The Matrix: Revolutions (November) Lord of the Rings: Return of the King (December)
Kill Bill looks awsome just from the trailer, kung fu, Uma Thurman, 78 dismemberments in a single fight scene. Whats not to like?
No release date for Kill Bill Volume 2 yet, Tarentino wants it released 6 weeks after the original, the studio wants it released 6 months later. IMHO, their best bet is something like 1-2 months or so, of course then they would be facing Revolutions
But still, 2 different movies, I wouldn't mind doing a double feature and paying for both movies and seeing one right after the other. In fact that would kick all kinds of bootay, like an official Kung Fu Movie Appreciation Day.
