enough bout that..
I really want to test this pack now
10 left on dl? shiz, you're provider must suck.
Yeep
Telia ADSL.. 0.5mbit... that is awful.
Your connection is ok...prob is elsewhere.
My brothers was honking bandwith with cs and ventrilo.. or something..
however, i started playing, and i couldn't notice the difference, then i went to my old ns (restored backups)
and i suddenly thought 'woah, this looks blocky..'
only then did i see the true beauty.
i already had the ambience sounds, but with the new models, i got very scared again.
GJ!
Advantages: Everything but the disadvantages. Seriously.
Disadvantages: Weapon High Poly Models are quite...well, they may be high-poly, but you don't notice. I miss "Roger That"...I wish taht was still there.
Overall: Wow. VERY good pack, get this if you love to feel in the game.

//Muppet
Taunt/commands seem a bit long, but I like'em. Ultimate bad<blip> and the where the <blip> is that ammunition request are a little painful to listen to because of the static. They ain't paying us by the hour could use a touch more t on the ain't, or maybe that's just my accent

Just one thing.. I can't seem to get the alien building sprite which is in the preview working. Still got the originals. What sprite is that?

You're right, lektroo. I have simply forgot to put the sprites in there. Bummer! I will probably release a 2.1 version in a short while so you won't be without them for too long. I'll maybe just upload those two sprites later also so that everyone can complement the pack.
And yes, this was the pack I was talking about.

First thing I noticed is that the darker muzzle flash sprite makes it rather easier to see while shooting. May be worthwhile to make it brighter (-> more opaque) to keep things balanced (or larger but the same opacity, though I doubt that's possible). Similar thought for the HA which looks darker (or may just be me).

It's easier to see? I find it even more difficult to hit anything with that muzzle flash, although I still use it 'cause it looks so beautiful. You're right about the HA, it's darker, but I really like the way that skin turns out in-game.
I will give your feedback to Marr about the vox files, and we'll see what he says.
Thanks for all the great feedback guys and I'm VERY HAPPY that there are so many people who like this pack.
Did it in less than 1 min.
I got another LMG that i find better
and the fact that I average at 10 fps.
Pray for me.
Yeah, it's by Carbon14. Although he sent me a message right after I released the pack that he's working on a new version for NS 2.0, so that will be included in eXperience 2.1 (small update) if everything goes well.

I shall now go against all rational thought and download this pack despite my low sys spec,
and the fact that I average at 10 fps.
