<div class="IPBDescription">Don't ask for a medpack</div> I was just comming, and it would seem like this was a small issue- but it was actually quite annoying. I would have almost-dead players that would stay in the base for several minutes at a time asking for med packs, until they'd finally go rambo themselves.
TYPE "kill" IN THE CONSOLE!!! It will refill your health, armory, and ammo to their normal levels without losing ANY res! "~" is the console button (right under esc key!) And yes- it does make you kill yourself. Better than giving res to some skulk for pwning you. You lose nothing except for a few seconds worth of time.
Just putting this out there for the n00bs. Of course if you have anything that costs res or are away from the base it's OK to ask for a med pack. I'd rather give you a 2 res med pack than lose the 10 res shotgun. Likewise, I'd rather spend 2 res on a medpack to keep people guarding an RT or whatever than to lose it because people were at low health.
Just a heads up.

I hate it when stupid NS noobs ask from medpacks in base and when I don't give them any, they and their noob friends eject me from the comm chair.
Here it is folks:
If you are a stock marine (as in all you have is an lmg, pistol/welder, and a knife) and you are 1 skulk bite away from death, just shut your annoying trap and type kill in console. Save me the 2 res for something else. Whatever you do, do NOT go ramboing off and getting yourself killed ... don't give the skulks more res than they already have.
If you have anything extra besides a welder (like a shotty, jp, ha, hmg, or gl), then consider asking for medpacks. You are worth 2-4 res, espeically if you are good.
That is all folks.
Consideirng how you can't f4 or kill yourself while your being digested, I'd say that the MAXIMUM length of kill delay is 1-2 seconds. 0 seconds is BEST, but i can understand 1 -2 seconds to prevent abuse. But 3.0 seconds is getting unbearable and 30 seconds is just absurd!
