<div class="IPBDescription">Marine ladders... Exploit?</div> Would any of you consider marine ladders an exploit? (Marines jumping on each others heads to get to places unreachable without jetpack tech), I mean I know it's being going on since quakeworld but it's physically impossible for someone to jump on another persons head unless you have leet balance hax.

In real life, you can boost people into higher places by having them stand on your shoulders or even on the palms of your hands.
This strategy is utilized ALL the time ... trust me, its not an exploit.
And yeah, I would consider gorge boosting an exploit, most of the times it's to get through a vent without having to fight, whereas the aliens should be working as a team to fight past the marines instead.
Plus, it defies physics, something at least twice the body weight of something, pushing down onto it's side while it's clinging sideways to a wall seems pretty funny to me.

However, about realism, not a good example. You might not be able to stand on yer friends head, but you certainly can have them run at you, land their foot in the palm of your hand so you can toss them upwards so they can scramble into the vent.

oh please, it's not an exploit. Its been implemented in every game since like forever. Besides, most NS players are too busy killing worthless crap to make this strat even viable. Boosting a gorge is not an exploit, hell they even have a server mod for it, lerklift.
Has anyone noticed what game they are playing?
I mean for christ sake guys, you are saying a "Skulk" lifting a "gorge" is "unrealistic........... Where is the realism of a game set so far in the future they have managed to make guns that have barely noticable recoil (read the manual it explains it all), create rifts in space to transport living tissue, yet you think that marines in their strength enhancing armour (yes even light armour is meant to) shouldnt boost eachother.... because its unrealistic and therefore an exploit.....
The argument about a skulk not being able to lift a gorge.... look at ants, AND anything strong enough to leap a fully armoured marine and do that much damage, has to be one strong little git! tbh skulks can lift onos too.
Those exploiting ****, I hope they get banned from the mod.
