Well this is kinda strange, ns rounds usually last very long but this one lasted right on the 40 seconds mark! amazing <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> !

    Yea well , i got kicked out from a server becaus i killed 8 skulks in the beginning of the game when they rushed (i didn't die) .     I seriously doubt that you could kill 8 skulks by yourself in the beginning skulk rush UNLESS you had some MAJOR teammate help ...

    I mean think about it ... each skulk has 75 hp and around 20 armor so that takes 10 bullets to drop each skulk.

    If you had PERFECT accuracy and no recoil (as in you owned each skulk at super close range), you would still need 80 bullets to drop 8 skulks ... which is practically ur stock LMG ammo.

    The server admins were obviously stupid if they kicked you for hacking ... I mean no one can possibly drop 8 skulks in a row without dying and/or without any signficant support.

    the pistol? Using the armory to reload the lmg without going through the reload anim? The skulks rushed in one by one? It's very doable.

    I think rushes are lame, honestly.

    I play NS to play a game. Not say "Hey, who wants to com-****, game over."

    It may be legit in clan play. Pub marines just need a 30-second period to figure out who's doing what.

    2 things. What <b>don't</b> you think is lame?

    you other point, that 30 second period where someone won't jump in the comm chair--the game has already been decided. The marines should lose.

    It's a pub for Christ's sakes. No one knows anyone - sometimes it's hard to choose who can command. It's a total cop-out just to have a skulk rush and end the game in a matter of seconds, only to return to the ready room and try it again. Boring - let's play a legit game, not see how we can own a bunch of marines who're busy trying to teamchat and get acquanted. I say shotty rushes are also stupid. These rush-games are redundant and have absolutely no variety to them, making them trite and boring.

    Games shouldn't end just because marines are forced to work with absolute strangers and aliens can do whatever they want.

    Ns_Viel is the most lopsided map for Marines in the entire NS community... Aliens ALWAYS win... ive only seen a marine team win 1 time on that map... and it was in TEXAS HK with me being the commander the entire game...

    Veil is probably the easiest map to win as marines from my experiences.

    I agree. The most marine wins I've seen have come on that map.

    this wasnt public..... and veil is probably the easiest for marines, have seen alot of wins on it, but still very hard when it comes to clan match at veil.

    shortest game ever:

    1: everyone stacks marines (or aliens in 2.0)
    2: i join aliens (or marines is 2.0), press F4 straight away
    3: game start 'beeps'
    4: game end sounds

    normaly rushes are annoying but rushing the marine base with 12-13 gorges is really fun and if you havent tried it you really should cos all the rines get killed by health spray and there helpless as u take out there base heh heh heh fear the <!--emo&::gorge::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/pudgy.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='pudgy.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Early skulk rushes can end a game in a matter of seconds if the marines don't get an IP up in time, but how about the quickest 3 hive game? Today myself and another skulk immediately rushed marine base and took out their entire team together, save for one guy who managed to get an IP up while we were dead. But with the res for kills, he put up the second hive at 2:07 and I put up the third hive at 7:30 (woulda been quicker if I was paying attention, heehee) and the game was over with fully upgraded aliens and completely un-upgraded marines at 12:00.
