<div class="IPBDescription">in 2.0???</div> Does anyone know if NS_Europa has been or is being converted for NS 2.0?
In NS 1.04, it was one of my favorites and It would be realy nice to see it in 2.0.

    well, Plague is working at Taldren so he is a bit busy you know. He has the map ready to test and for what i saw in a last layout pic he showed the map looked really cool. I hope he gives it to the EC guys for some PTs at nano.

    From a position outside of the marine start, there was a double res node. You could siege right from there all three hives. That double res node is about ten to five seconds of a walk away from base. If he fixes that, I'm all for the map, its beautiful.

    As blueman said, Plaguebearer has made a new version of Europa, but does not presently have the time to test it and get it ready for release. Perhaps we'll see it soon, perhaps not.

    Yea the marine base basically being surrounded by resource towers was abit silly <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Especially in NS 2.0 with them electritfied early... owww.... alien's lose me thinks.

    Not if the map is played at 2:00 AM and noone is up to teamplay anymore. Then aliens win 100% of the time even with a time advantage at the beginning it only lengthens the games. So for public servers I don't mind a map that gives the marines an advantage. Just load the map after midnight when everyone is a bit tired <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Actually, the changes to it were made months ago - that version isn't 2.0 spec.

    I'm pondering just making a new map altogether, rather than trying to fix up Europa. Going back to work on an old map, especially as much as my style has matured, is painful.

    I just wish I could get Yamazaki to partner on a map with me... <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Yeah, but since we live in the same apartment, it means I can throw empty Coke cans at him til he changes his style.

    -fix simple placement things (del few nodes, move some others)
    -recomplie with whatever it is you use to get 2.0 maps
    -move on to another map (ns_io!)

    everyone is happy <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
