<div class="IPBDescription">bug?????</div> Well if a alien goes into a mine and dies it shows the suiciding sign and that is bad because it DOESNT give the comm any res for his kill why cant it have that old sprite like in 1.0x..

    Mine kill crediting was removed to prevent aliens getting res for kills from mines, I think (when a projectile detonates it, and marines get blown up). Although I don't really see the point of it.

    i agree, comms houl get res for a mine kill. And if an alien is clever enough to detonate a mine at the correct time to kill a rine then it deserves the res.

    If a skulk died to each mine, mines would cost almost no resources. 5 mines with about 1.5 res per mine is 7.5 res. I believe it was decided that it was too good to be able to recoup so much in the way of losses. A mine is only used up when it has been useful (barring aliens detonating them from a distance). A shotgun can be lost without damaging anyone, even if only a skulk is applied. I believe this is the reason it shows up as a suicide, but if anyone has better information I welcome it.

    Turrets shouldn't give any R4K either. They encourage turret farms...
