Ok I figured out how, sorry for this wasted space, nevermind. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

but I have one more question, why is it when I host a server it gives my friends the message "lan servers are restricted to class C" when I am trying to host an internet game not a lan game?

At a guess, it means that the LAN IP adress isn't the right type. I have no idea whether I'm right or not, why this would be happening, or how to fix it. Sorry :/

Go to your "listenserver" file (should be in your ns folder) and look for "sv_lan 1" change the 1 into a 0.

alternatively, just bring down the console in game with the tilde (~) key, and type sv_lan 0, then hit enter.

same as above, only less confusing for n00bs(?).

He editted it out as he had fixed the problem.

    I assume. That's a-s-sume just incase it's filtered.
