Likely for less that what you'd expect, The Net Gamer will rent you an entire computer, dedicated SOLELY and COMPLETELY to you. One computer. One client. These are the specifications of our rental computers:
AMD Athlon 2200+ (minimum)
ASUS A7V8X-X Motherboard
512 MB PC2700 DDR RAM
30 GB UDMA/100 7200 RPM HD (minimum)
10/100 Onboard NIC
Windows 2000 Professional
3 Fully Routable, Static IP Addresses
In addition, if absolute and total control of every aspect of the server(s) you plan to run is of importance to you, these systems offer you The Holy Grail in server administration:
<b>Remote Desktop -- Full Shell Access</b>
This is not virtual access. This is SOLE access. Let us make something crystal clear. This is YOUR computer to use as YOU see fit. You control what game servers run. You control how many game servers run. You control what games to provide servers for. You control how many related applications run (Webserver, FTP Server, Voice Server, etc.). And all on an OS that is familiar to most everyone: Microsoft Windows.
The pricing for these systems at the listed bandwidth allocation is as follows:
1.5 Mb/s (a T1 worth) of unmetered bandwidth $99.99 per month
3.0 Mb/s (two T1's worth) of unmetered bandwidth $149.99 per month
5.0 Mb/s (over three T1's worth) of unmetered bandwidth $199.99 per month
There are no hidden costs. Never a variable invoice. Just one fixed charge per month for your rental computer and all the bandwidth it consumes. And, discounts are available for longer term rentals.
Lastly, as a special incentive, all setup charges on this product will be waived through August 31, 2003. To obtain the setup charge waiver, you must commit to and pay for your rental computer by August 31, 2003. Availability is limited. As always, first paid, first served.
The Net Gamer is located in Kansas City (<45 ms to Internet exchanges on both US coasts, <10 ms to Internet exchanges on both US borders), an optimal location for clans with members scattered throughout North America. Check your latency to our facility by pinging 66.28.23.65.
