<div class="IPBDescription">Baaaaad</div> Stop comparing every idea, suggestion, and rant to CS. We know you think it makes you look "cool" and hardcore because you're so totally dissin' CS CUZ DUDE ONLY BAD PEOPLE PLEY IT. I've actually seen someone reply to a post about more weapons ( ok, it's kind of stupid, but stil..) saying "this isnt like CS DUDE". Not every idea can be linked to CS. In fact, most can't. Because someone suggests something doesnt mean they play CS. Here's something to think about : playing CS doesn't turn you into a llama. Not everyone who plays CS is a llama. And guess what else, not every single person who suggests something you don't like plays CS, and must go back there. Whew...that felt good.

    While i'll admit a lot of people will just say CS sucks becuase everyone else says so, i also have to agree that CS has passed it's time. Sure it'll probably have 100,000 players for the next 10 years (or CS2, whichever comes first <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->) but you have to admit, it is now pretty much the simplest of HL mods...

    But if you think CS is great. Thats cool. I still play it with my freinds sometimes, always fun to headshot some buddys, and if you hate it, fine, let's just keep the talk about NS and not monkey-strike....err I mean counter-strike. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Well, this is already getting quite warm. Cool it down a bit folks.

    Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, including those who liken certain suggestions to being negatively akin to counter-strike; just as much as those who enjoy CS are entitled to theirs. Difference being, these ARE the NS forums. And a majority of the comments are quite true; things like adding an MP5, or flashbangs, or a bomb to plant at a hive, are very CS-ish in nature... and very few want to see NS take on CS aspects. It's an independent mod, with no need to appease anyone but the dev team.

    Trust me, this same kind of discussion is carried on across many other mod boards, in one way or another. I remember similar discussions on the FireArms boards about the Leadership skill turning into the NS Commander mode.


    Though on an unrelated note, this isn't exactly a discussion about Natural Selection, and so gets <span style='color:orange'>*Phased to Off-Topic*</span>.

    Didn't think this would be off-topic material, but ok. Anyway, the point I'm trying to make is that just because someone is new and does something stupid, don't label them as a CS newb and say things like "go bak to cs nub". Same goes for the ideas. I personally play CS for some mindless fun ( much like TS, and TFC).
