Predator 3, Avp, Aliens 5

where to begin?
I can't find any reliable info on these films.
From what I know, Aliens 5 is probably going to be in production and AvP has already started in Prague.
But is Predator 3 going to be made? From what I have read across the Internet there have been like 4 different scripts..
There is one, "Says Park, “Dutch is back. He turns his back on love to track down the traitor who wiped out his elite squad of soldiers. Two years later it's Dutch who is being secretly stalked by a Predator with a mysterious agenda until
it learns that Dutch holds something more dear to him than life. This sends the Predator into its own private hell during the worst snowstorm in New York's recorded history to find Dutch's heart...and rip it out.?" And also another, "American marines go to a planet where Predators are staging an invasion of Earth."
I hope Arnold is in the next pred, if there is one.

... ditto.
He's to big. The crew of aliens was perfect!
Preditor explodes...
i also heard he uses hacks in his fights
You know, I'd be more happy if they DIDN'T make these films...
No, I don't want to see a DOOM movie either, as I know it couldn't possibly be good. Nintendo Cereal Theory 101.
The reason I don't want see an Alien 5 is due to Alien 3 and 4. Likewise for Predator 2. And just the concept of AvP, while I do think it would have the best shot out of the three, would be very hard to pull off. I can see them yelling to CG everything now...
They could call it "Predator vs. Nazis" or something.
No, not the game, DOOManiac, and it would show all his crazy antics.

"Premise: Set in the early 21st century (ie, now), this movie follows a team of drillers, scientists and archaeologists who travel to Antarctica to investigate ancient pyramid ruins buried deep beneath the ice which predate those in Egypt and Mexico, suggesting they were once the home of a great empire that ruled over the Earth first. When they finally reach one of the pyramids, however, they discover human skeletons and fossilized remains of alien creatures that appear to hug faces and burst out of chests (wink wink), along with evidence that such aliens may still be alive somewhere in the ruins. The danger below them is frightening, but what the scientists also don't know is that something as dangerous lurks above them, happy to have had someone open up the Aliens uncovered: Predators."

Owned.
They should NEVER make movies based off Video Games.
*shudders*
Terminator 3 was decent, but not as good as the previous two instalments.
BACK ON TOPIC
If Alien 5 is going to be directed by James Cameron, then it definitely won't turn out to be the all-gore-and-no-intelligence crap that Alien Ressurection was.
As far as history is concerned, no pc game to movie conversion has been sucessful.
As far as history is concerned, any move to pc game conversion stands a high chance of failing. (The world remembers Jedi knight/Dark forces only because it was good).
As far as history is concerned, anything beyond the fourth installment of any said series is bound to fail (the exception being Ultima, Might and magic and a few other lucky ones).

the only thing that makes a series great is if they stay constant. Thats why Ultima/Might & Magic/Dungeons & Dragons/StarCraft are so good; they keep the same "feel" to it all.
Series that fail or failed partially are like the Settlers series; In settlers 2 they had you put down flags for pathing, but in settlers 3 the settlers made their own paths much to the dismay of players. why? sometimes the settlers would create a path too quickly; farms and foresters can be built on paths, however, the things they create (wheat fields and trees respectivly) cannot grow on paths. that lead to "OMG NOO! TEH PERFECT PLACE FOR THE VINYARD RUINED! &*#% PATHING!" and the hate of being un-able to "dig up" the newly created road. Same goes for movies; sudden changes in plot or theme, such as the lack of "time travel theories in Terminator 3 for the majority of the movie, often leads to dismay and distaste among fans.
PS: personally i like Settlers 3 and 4 pathing better than Settlers 2. Less micro = more time to strategize.

It's going to suffer the Alien Syndrome.
