Can you say nostalgia?

I sure can, and im down with it.
Well, think about it, remember when you had your NES back in the day? say 10 years ago, and you were all excited about new games, and some of them just caught your eye as awesome? Well, one of my most memorable game was Contra, and well guess what? It's being remade into what's turning out to be one awesome looking nextgen sidescroller. For the PS2 of course. Basically, its contra completely redifned with awesome graphics and incredibly cool looking single player, and maybe even with coop. I strongly suggest all you oldies who enjoyed this game to check this out, heres a decent media link for you.

My Real dad's a closet geek, Rides a harley and is pretty big but has had a computer since forever. I remember how excited he was when Dos's first menu system came out...(I'm racking my brain trying to remember the name.
Then the monitor went out and monitors cost alot of money back then. The tv was used for other things.. remember back then when A t'v barely had enough connections for a VCR?
Then about 8 I had the first sega, no not the genises, it was Atari like, infact it came with a game on it a maze game. Then about 12 I fell inlove witht he sega genises.
Played that thing all the time, had a huge collection of preused games bough for like 10 bucks with allowence.
Then my world was thrown upside down when I got my first IBM.
SKYFOX! AND AND ZAK MCCRAKEN! AND AND CAVEMAN UGLYMPICS....oh...those were the days...
Nes never really interested me. I guess maybe I didnt like the controls.
I've stuck with sega over the years. and now have a playstation I dont use and about 12 games, mostly RPG'S.

Right now, everyone who's actually played it was pretty positive, so I'll go on hoping.
