<div class="IPBDescription">Please tell me how to get laser sight</div> Hey there everybody! Yesterday i was playing Natural Selection and we started a new match. That's when I noticed that some marines on my team had laser sights on there light machine guns. I asked them how to get it but the never told me. If anyone whos reading this knows how to get it PLEASE PLEASE reply to this or send me and email about it at littlemans1990@hotmail.com. Thanks in advance.

    A little tip: if you want to avoid being deluged by spam (could very well be a foregone conclusion if you are using hotmail), never post your email address on a web page.

    The lasers are probably just a metamod plugin or something.

    If you could see them, then its a server side plugin. And as StoatBringer mentioned, it's like walking around with a large drum and neon sign that says "Eat Me"

    There are mods available in the "NS Customization" forum that only put limited laser sights on people you see. Only on marines, and they are not visible when you are playing aliens.

    To be a little more helpful...

    Yes it is a server plugin, we run it.

    You already HAVE the laser sight, but you cannot see it. It can be set for players to see their own lights but it is not recommended for performance issues. Rest assured, the other players saw your lights, LOL.

    I think you'll find that you have to spin around 3 times, jump twice, crouch twice, jump once, unload your pistol clip, type "/kill" into the console and then type "say OMG U R AL TEH NUB!!11" and then "exit" in the console.

    Then again, i could be wrong.

    Must agree with proably everyone here. I saw the laser's in action once on a bot server. I stayed for around 45sec for I realized how much of complete garbage the plugin is and left. Everyone has already clearly stated the problems, no need for me to repeat.

    I try not to play on servers with too many plugins. If I see a server with medarmory, I quit before it even loads. But lazer pointers that only the marines can see doesn't seem too bad to me... ah well.
