Tsa Marine Concept Sketch

<div class="IPBDescription">Feedback needed!!</div> Okay. I know I'm very much new here, but I have had this idea bouncing around in my head awhile and needed it to go away. I put this concept of TSA light armour down on paper and gave it a very simple color job. I was inspired by the Halo Master Sargeant, but its not a direct take-off from him. I thought maybe modelers with nothing to do, or someone with a desire for a new marine might consider modeling it.
I figured maybe we'd like some newer, more original looking player models. Colonial Marines and Starcraft Terrans are nice, but its been done to death. I own all their origin games and if I wanted to play StarCraft or AvP...I'd install them.

I want to finish this, with full detail and all but I am lacking on what to do next. So I ask you, the fellow players of NS...what would you do to him?

pretty cool, but we got plenty of skethes, i wanna see some models made, its sad we have like the normal and the avp ones and not muich else besides like starcraft and wh40k

The chest part could use some beefing up, perhaps some more detail and some interesting addon and such. It just looks kind of blank to be honest. Everything else it very purdy though. The helmet and leggings are my favorite parts <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'>.

Looks awesome! But this suit would probably be for the LA, right? That looks realy cool. If you want some one to model it it would realy help if you gave at least a front and left/right view. And extra veiws like that one and back view would be appreciated. I would attempt it if oyu did that. I could use some good views to practice modeling ppl. I stoped working on that chem marin because i couldnt get it right cuz the pose was ackward and it was only a front back pic.

When you pose him have his hands open and arms at a 45 degree angle please. That would help a lot. Lots of pics like the ones sheena posts of guns would be great and help modelers out.

No, you claimed it was "inspired" by master chief and "not a direct take-off" Simply editing a pre-existing concept sketch sounds like a "direct take-off" to me.

I can see I stepped on some toes by not being clear.
For me, putting it on paper means paper, on a wall, on my arm, and yes...on the computer. Its a term. Its relative. Again, Its not a direct take-off. A take-off would be maybe a recolor, or a new emblem instead of whatever his is.
I modified the armour, and changed it. Yeah, the concept art was a base, but I'm not claiming that as mine. As someone said before, "it looks like two different concepts". I merely wanted my own spin on it.
Simply put, I understand you're upset...but there's no reason to be. I never once claimed this to be all-mine, all-original, never-before-seen. If you dont like it, dont use it.
If I recall, you hacked a D3 model, which according to some; translates to stealing. I defended you when you went under fire because I knew your intentions. Understand mine please, and leave me alone. New I may be...but thus far I have only tried to help others as best I could. Forgive my lack of clarity but as I stated before NO I am NOT claiming this to be all mine.

Just try to be clearer in your wording in the future man. I really hate people who try and take credit for other peoples work. I may have hacked the Doom 3 Marines into NS but I've always made it know that I didn't actually make it.
