<div class="IPBDescription">My mouse don't work</div> I got a new optical mouse a week or so ago, and now it isn't working for more than 10 seconds at a time. I have to unplug the mouse from the USB port to be able to use it at all. This just started today when I got home from school. It is a Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse plugged in to USB. It worked fine last nite and now it does not work at all. Oh, one morwe thing. The pointer jumps around before it quits working completly.

so, what types of plugs are they?

usb, PS2, PS, some sorta adapter with one of those?

oh, and what was your last mouse (plug)

Well, while there is a thread about mouse problems, I might as well post my problems too.

I have a Microsoft USB Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer. When ever I turn on my computer, I have to unplug the mouse from the USB port and put it in another port because the mouse isnt working. Any suggestions?

Help Gimpy Doodly Doo first though.

Keyboard is PS2 old mouse was also PS2 and new mouse is USB. And the screensaver was running at like .2 fps just a minute ago. I have a Radeon 9000 pro 128mb card. I don't know if this is related, but that just started today too. Oh, and my KB is working now too. (knock on wood) I also just had to do the plug/unplug thing to the mouse.

And about the GFX thing I just installed the newest drivers after I saw that the SS was doing that. But me mouse is the important thing here, so any solutions?
