<div class="IPBDescription">Probably discussed before but...</div> I dunno how many military buffs there are out there, but where I come from, conceptually IRL, the HMG used in NS would probably be considered an LMG or GPMG, and the LMG that you start with would normally be considered an SMG.
I mean, LMG's or GPMG's are typically section support weapons with the intent of providing a greater rate and volume of fire than the average weapon carried by most soldiers. SMG's are normally smaller, often automatic weapons typically used in close quarters combat. Even though NS is a sci-fi game, keeping partially in line with the theme of realism, shouldn't the weapons have similiar names to thier models in real life?

Anyway, its a video game, and a sci-fi video game at that; It doesn't need any normal, realistic names.

Definately owned by shakespeare. Also there's no need to stress about the little things, like a name of a weapon IN A GAME.
Take a look and compare the spent casings from LMG and Pistols.
The casings from a LMG are small like (real-world) pistol ammunition, as it should be for a submachine gun, but the pistol casings are huge in comparison, almost like an elephant gun or grenade launcher. I noticed it one day and just thought it was funny at the time.
if there was a 'bullet' to kill vampires, it would have to be some kinda uv/ir emitting bullet i think
Actually, I guess turret farming is a more viable solution.
