I'm finally done. This pack will either be a final pack or a half-version pack. This pack has all buildings and players in it, but no weapons. <!--emo&::marine::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/marine.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='marine.gif'><!--endemo--> Note: don't think of it as being pure cel-shaded. Because it really is not. It is high-contrast textures on models with black outlines. In my opinion, the textures included look better on the models than pure colors because in the shadows and lighting in the game, it looks better.

    The aliens look great, but im not too sure about the marines, none the less its a great job, i shall use these. =)

    The marine structures were the hardest. I tried to make them look the best in all kinda of light as possible. But yeah the aliens rock =)

    Looks pretty good, still not true cell shading but I guess someone can arrange that.
    The marines don't look very good though, aliens are a lot better.

    i dont think that cell shading fits with ns, but thats only my opinion.

    Although, the cell shading on the aliens youhave done is very good. It dosnt work aswell on marine structures though. Personally i would say do a full alien pack, and only to a player pack for rines.

    Yeah I'm not very happy with the marines too. The method I used for aliens didn't work the same with the 'rines. I'll keep at it though. I might just use pure colors instead of a funky texture I have now. The reason is because with Aliens you expect some sorta funky texture. Marines are more machine and expect a more "grainy" feel. Oh well. They do their jobfine though of the "comic book" feel.

    Hmm, thats odd. I see how it is- the player models are viewable, but it doesn't show the building models for me. Hmm...

    same here quanant.. but i tried them in-game and they look neat, but they look out of place without cel shaded weapon models, and the map textures

    is there a tutorial on how this is done though? i think the cel shaded look is awesome

    I think a tut on how to do it has been posted a lot of times, not sure where though.

    @Quaunaut: Try changing HLMV's backround color from black to white. (unless you did this before.)

    Sorry for double post, wanted to show that I'm speaking on a different note.

    While this pack is great, there are a few things I'd love to see-

    Thicker outline on the hive.

    ALL outlines black. No different colors.

    Weapon Models being Cel-Shaded(looks wierd otherwise....)

    What do you mean? All of the outlines are black.

    Also, you bave to open ba_model NOT ba_modelt because t is just a texture file.

    I just might do the chibi skulk if i ask coil =).
