<div class="IPBDescription">for the RIAA to stop suing people</div>Due to the nature of people who use file sharing services that amass hoards of MP3's, its only a matter of time before the RIAA sues some depressed teenager who can't possibly afford to pay them back. The already unstable teenager will then commit suicide as a result, and the RIAA will have blood on their hands (from a public relations standpoint). After 4 or 5 of these deaths, there will be such a public outcry that the RIAA will have no choice but to stop suing people left and right.
Hell, I'm sure a few unstable saps will probably envision themselves as martyrs or something and may off themselves just for kicks.

Yes... I would rather like that.
have the unending piles of lead-filled kharaa, slain by your own hand taught you nothing?
I'm desirous of the RIAA's plan to backfire on them, and it may come about this way, let's hope it backfires in a not-so-bad way, but what happens will happen.
That HAS to be wrong, right? I mean, there's gonna be thousands of teenagers with hundreds of songs on their comps. How they gonna pay that?
Agreed. Why suicide? Ynot "justifiable homicidal defense".

You're forgetting Ad Aware, it would help as well.
At least I think it would...

Apparently not. For shame on you Marines. Then again, the unending piles of Onos-crapped marines I have left behind have taught me nothing as well...
That 12 year old girl setteled out of court for 2g's.
Norton will not help you. Unless it will completly prevent your isp from releasing your name. The RIAA will go on kazaa share/downoad stuff and if you have it or dl it from them. They track ip back to the isp. They tell the isp that this ip addy is downloading illegal copies of music, gimmie there name. Verison will not release names. I dont know about any other isps.
I dont know how it works, but I heard that if you go to the RIAA and show proof that if you did dl mp3s and now deleted them all they will not sue you. However, the record lable for whatever artist you dled will then sue you saying that you had it. I dont know how true this is.
