i have a idea. can someone make me a map where you fly in the air like in desert crisis. to put in better word make it like a elivator but fight in the star ship troopers bug home world like the spawns in the huge drop ship but the aliens can get in it can some one make? sorry for miss spelling stuff im very tird and im sick <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/marine.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='marine.gif'>

i assume your talking about a fun map here it wouldnt work well as aproper map why not draw out a layout and post it as its a bit vaque what ur trying 2 explain

lol that gives me an idea for a map called NS_rush best played with 16 vs 16 and there are sixteen hives, aliens get like a bajillion res nodes and marines get like ten or what not, but get bunkers and cover, and the aliens have no cover what ...ah nevermin di'm ramblin.

I need to go play planetside.

sniper post? erm. is it just me that thinks there actually arent any snipers in ns? or did I missed it? XD

I had this idea myself (I think every mapper had this idea cause there is noone that dont know "starship troopers") but I dropped it when I realized with ns_60seconds that such a map either wouldnt look like the original if done right for ns or would be the greatest crapmap.
personally I dont see any problems with the "skylimitation" so open area ns maps wouldnt be such a problem. but to give it the typical "starship troopers"-look the hl performance is too bad. or u make lots of caves. but this gets quite boring I think.
the idea evolved and grew...

look im not trying to be rude but if you dont what to do it thats fine. i thout a sniper post cuz there were some on SST but i know there are no snipers in the game. could u help me drawing the places in the base like boxes doors rooms.
and i wil start to make on hammer.
see the first wad to put on map i catch from the pictures.
and need more pictures to see and extract textures to put on map, plz more clean.

im not being rude but rent the movie if you havent seen it. this is the base on klendethu when the beetle bug kills all thos dudes in base. that part is what im talking about.
