I never played HW1. But I downloaded the HW2 demo today and must say I was FLOORED! I'm glad I get payed this friday because I'm gonna pick a copy of that up when it hit shelves. I'll DEFINATLY be up for a game with someone.
Damn I loved the HW1 demo. Never got the full game though. There's something about sending a massive fleet of carriers, destroyers, and what not to squash the tiny computer fleet that makes me want to donce.

Rented HW1 a few times, good, but the control system didn't appeal to me. Luckily, they fixed it for Cataclysm. Rented it once. Next time I played it, it was all MINE!!!!!! Finished it a little over a month later. I'd buy HW2, but my computer probably can't run it, can't run Cataclysm that's for sure. Our laptop runs it, we didn't have this computer when I got Cataclysm. I wonder if the Bentusi are an available race in MP? There's something about commanding a fleet of ships armed with nothing but ion cannons, even the fighters; Super Acolytes.
