[8:07pm] <ServerAdminHelp> hi there I host a NS server and every time anyone trys to join it sais it is a lan game. I have no router and sv_lan is at 0.

Now I dont know if this is true or not. Can one of the dev's comment on this as I would like to keep hosting a NS server, but steam is not helping at all. thX

Yes I have updated the server. Anytime someone trys to join to sais it is a lan game. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/nerd.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd.gif'>

check your sv_lan setting

If you try to connect to an Steam NS server without going through Steam (ie. through your standard HL install) then you'll get a Lan error.]

You are connecting through steam right?

Yes I did try through steam.

and yes sv_lan is at 0. That was the 1st thing I checked.
