<div class="IPBDescription">Re: STEAM</div> Hi guys,
As we have so much talent sat around here, how's about we do each other a favour?
Whoever gets a Win32 & Linux server running for Steam NS up & going, post it eh?
I'm sure everyone is going to run into at least one hitch, but with this many heads, we should all be able to get servers going, and I'd rather see 500 running NS servers, than 100 running servers, and 400 running but could be fixed with a little help.
Here's to everyone helping each other.

I thought it might have to be updated at least tog et constellation, vet etc icons working...
You get it working, <b>post it</b>
The more we know as community, the less headache we have.
would help if the server release wasnt delayed. Should of been out hours ago <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
for users.ini admin privledges:
your entry would look something like:
STEAM_0:1:3645::131071
(except the number would be changed to your STEAM ID, yes steam HAS to be capitalized and the whole thing has to be there)
as for AMX MOD users:
the version on their website (v0.9.3) isn't compatible with steamid's, there is 'newer' versions that support steamid's found in their 'general' forums, newer versions might break some of your plugins, I know it has broken one of the team balancing plugins I use.
new stuff on adminmod.org's site about those particular issues (beta release at least):
<a href='http://www.adminmod.org' target='_blank'>http://www.adminmod.org</a>
Our server is up and running the linux version of Steam and NS. Had to update the adminmod dlls like the previous poster mentioned, but that was really it. Nice and smooth and easy.
