depends on number of players, what some variables are set for like sv_maxrate sv_minrate and other stuff.

With about 16 players on my server, I see an average throughput of around 50kbps...so, approx. 180MB per hour (if my arithmetic is accurate this early with no coffee <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> )

Most of the mods for the Quake engine (Yes, CS, NS, HL, etc are al based on Quake run about 3kb/s per player. If you have a 768/128 DSL setup as a server, you can only support 5 players at 90 ping (can vary depending on network constraints, etc). If you didn't know, 128kilobits is equal to about 16kb/s, which proves my explanation. 3x5 = 15, duh, lol!

Here's an excel file that helps calculate bandwidth usage. It was made for CS, and I think it underestimates bandwidth a little, but it gives you a good estimate.
