  Basically you need to open notepad and save the empty file as "userconfig.cfg" (include the " marks so that its saved as a .cfg file)
  
  In userconfig.cfg add the line below exactly as it is
  alias "ex_maxerrordistance" ""
  
  
  Save userconfig.cfg under
  steam\steamapps\youremail\half-life\ns\
  
  
  (If u already have a userconfig.cfg in ur NS folder, then just add the line to it)
