Steam Bah!

<div class="IPBDescription">i can't even connect!</div> when i type in my username and password to connect to steam it tells me that all steam servers are down/check my internet connection.

what is going on!??!

do i need to forward ports on my router or something?

this is crazeh!

any help appreciated!

    restart your computer if it does that. (steam connects you to a random server when you logon, so restart and hope you get one that is working)

    do you have a firewall? if so, you need to make sure you have the correct ports open (for the exact ones, look on the steampowered.com site)

    It also depends on what Steam installer you used. The first one i did let me register and converted my files, but did not me to connect to any games. The second I installed Steaminstall_CS.exe allowed me to get all the HLmods I played working.
