<div class="IPBDescription">someting weird happened</div> i was playing on a server one time and i went gorge....i tried to bile bomb the rt...but i kept primal screaming for some reason...it didn't say i was doing primal scream but my screen showed that!then i went onos and did devour....its showed me i stomped! when i tried to do stomp it did acid rocket! when i asked a fellow player if he saw the acid rockets...he said no and only saw stomp. then i decied to go fade. i blinked and guess what happend? i shot out umbra instead! i still could fly across the room but i did umbra...man some crazy **** was happening on that server

The exact same thing happened to me....Fading with blink I had umbra, but no cloud, just the missle.

Just a glitch in the game, restarting NS and/or your computer usually fixes that.

A couple times I would leap as a skulk, and I would still leap but I would also see an acid rocket fly from me. And a couple times when I xenocided, I saw an umbra cloud instead and got confused, thinking that I wasn't going to xeno, but I did anyway. Twas very interesting.

Do you guys think that this is a serous bug that needs to be put in the bug reports forum? Or is it just not worth the attention because it can be solved easily? I mean, if you <b>can</b> just restart your computer, then I guess it couldn't be <i>too</i> bad...

A couple more are welders shooting spikes, and the oc's not showing the spikes but they're still hitting you.
sometimes the sounds are screwed up, like the skulk when leapin would make a primal scream noise.

i dunno but once i was using a welder that shot lerk spikes.... never found out if they did damage... but they shot out always in the same direction... towards the comm chair... and xtreme rapid fire... funny as hell i think

it appears to be a bug with animations, but it doenst actully effect what your actully doing, it all looks normal to other people and you still do the normal attack even if the animations dont match

I had another merry ol' experience where two OC's were planted near a comm chair in the abandoned 'rine start, but instead of firing at the chair, the chambers were aimlessly shooting a wall behind them, despite the fact there was, and never had been, anything there.
Not certain if they were still doing damage to the chair, as 50 damage really doesn't show up often enough on CC health circles - so i killed it anyway.

this has been happing from 2.0 , from what iv been told its a meta mod/admin mod bug that does it. just need the new versions.

as for what Deathdrone said , that happens alot now when u try and attack the CC with a OC.

I had a similar experience on one night on 4 different servers (went from one to the other, to the other, ...).

I was gorg and when trying to bilebomb, I was acid shooting.
I was Onos and stomping was primal screaming.

I had asked someone in the alien team to watch me while I was doing this and they said they didn't see anything wrong. They saw me using bilebombs and stomping while on my screen, it wasn't.

So this seams to be affecting the client side only and doesn't get transfert to the server to affect the other players.

Metamod bug? I dont run any metamods and I do have that problem, even on Lan games. Only Hl installed with CS+NS, connect to another lan machine only with that too, and get the problem.

I also got the "shooting spikes welder" and "primal scream leap skulk" lol.

Restarted the game ... fixed <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif'>

He said it happened while he was playing on a LAN, so that means the server wasn't using metamod probably, especially since he specifically said they only had HL + CS/NS.
