<div class="IPBDescription">problem</div> I recently purchesed a Headset that also has a mic. It uses USB port and the mic works with programs such as ventrilo. The problem is I cant get it to work with HL. Anyone know how to fix this?

run the voice tweak program in the HL directory <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'> then set the volume up enough in game, should work fine then.

Steam's voicecomm config utility is in the Options Menu... very handy, takes 2 seconds to adjust in-game. (:

He was saying the voice tab in the Steam version of HL is handy. Though I would agree that many things in Steam are handy, just a bit buggy at times.

I've never had a problem with steam, only with the D.O.S. attacks on it.

But this is a story for another day.

And yes the voice tweak in steam is very much superior to HL's.
