Brushes are the poor man's way of making a texture look real. Now I'm not talking about the ordinary circle and square brushes. I'm talking about brushes in the shape of scratches, and other such effects. Take what you've got, and apply both dodge and burn with a speckled brush(that means just a bunch of scattered dots) to your model, particularly the plastic areas. This is the technique of some good texture artists. You should definately give it a try.
You can try to look for some brushes online, or I can give you what I've got if you ask through PM.
As for the rest, You should work on your contrast a little more. There's a lot of room to improve on your overall skinning technique.
Hmm... Thanks alot Jamil. Ive just started out on skinning, so I am still learning how to make effects. I have learned how to use speckled brushes as highlights on hair and things like that, but not on these textures. Ill be sure to try.
