    That screenshot couldnt be of a regular Bren though, cause the Bren had an offset sight... ya know, because of the Huge magazine in the way. so, Its like some kinda Messed up Bren.. Maybe a ZB26 (The original... the Bren was a copy)... But I dunno, I think the ZB26 had offset sights as well.

    Yeah thats not actually a Bren in Breakthrough, but a very close relative.

    "Finally, there’s the Vickers heavy machine gun – while a lot of fans have been asking to see the Bren in MOH, the Vickers is very similar, and it certainly seems to be a popular weapon on the development team."

    JUST GIVE US THE BREN MOH TEAM!!

    On topic-

    Excellent model! The concept I'd mocked up was caseless (to explain a greater clip size and also remove the ejection port) but this is better than I could hope for! Does anyone think it needs modified more? IE size, the side by side twin version, or perhaps more of that funky green TSA casing over it?

    Fantastic job, I'm glad people are just as keen as myself on seeing it made <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Nice model. But I think it would look better with a bullpup design (mag behind the trigger).
    Oh, and make the mag straight <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    It wouldn't be very bren-ish then would it <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Well, the mag would still be on the top, which is more than enough to make it look brenish to me. And the straight mag would look like the one in the link necrosis posted.

    Here's a picture of the BREN mk.3 and 4, in case anyone wants to use it to model over in milkshape...

    Dunno if I said it already but the original czech version used a straight mag because it used german bullets - the british copy used 303 rounds and thus required the curve.

    IIRC.

    As for bullpup design, it won't look like a bren and you wouldn't even see the mag since it'd be behind the trigger. We want to see the mag, see it pulled out and replaced with a solid metal clunk <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
