<div class="IPBDescription">It is helpful.</div> I've seen screenshots of scoreboards showing Kills/Deaths in NS... If there is a trick to showing this then I want to know!!!
No real reason...I just think it's cool to see who the best is. And please don't flame because I already know what your thinking:

(I don't necessarily agree that scores promotes rambos.)
And Beta 1 didn't have marine scores anyway, so it's not like they were nerfed too much ( it's perfect right now, imo)

Just write "status" in console while your playing and you are able to see how kills every one has. You'll be able to see bunch of other information like their WON id's. <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I know about the status command... but I think it's better to have a view of it from the touch of the scoreboard button.
Somebody <i>has</i> to know about this...
Every alien saving for Onos instead of building a hive.
Every marine will keep whining for a HA+HMG+Welder.
"OMGZ WHO CAERS IF WE LOES!??!1 I HAEV TEH MSOT FRAGZZ IN TEH GAEM!!!11"
IMHO fragscores are for deathmatch, and unless I will get scores for welding, assist kills, guarding stuff, moving to waypoints, building structures and spreading good spirit I'm not likely to change my opinion.

O New scoring system (get score for building structures, or for killing players or structures).
-- o 5 for CC or hive, 3 for RT, 2 for other structures.
-- o 1 for base Marine or Skulk, 2 for Gorge, 3 for Lerk, 4 for Fade, 5 for Onos, 3 for marine with Jetpack, 4 for marine with HA.
-- o Draw changes on scoreboard, so players can see how many points they get for actions.
<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

no one knows what that means, to me it sounds like just an easier way to score scrimms other than total res.
As for the scoreboard, there IS NO WAY TO SHOW IT IN 2.xx. IT'S NOT POSSIBLE. Did I say it with enough emphasis for you? It was taken out for a reason.
btw status always works you were just looking at the wrong number...
As for usefulness of it? As a comander you can pick the one with highest K/d ratio to give shotguns to. Just an example. I'm sure there's plenty of others.
It would help greatly on the decisions he makes about who to give equipment too. As a commander, I'd rather give the HMG's to the guy that is 12-2 rather than the guy that is 0-10.
It's a quick way, especially on pubs, for a commander to tell who has some bit of skill.
Other than that, grunts dont' NEED to know.
The alien player list is already ordered by who has the most kills, it just doesn't show the number.
Even though aliens are sorted, it does not take deaths into account, so it is sorted by kills alone, putting the permagorges at the bottom (if the other players are any good). I think letting the comm see K-D info for his own team is a good idea. Make it so they have to be in the CC for 30 seconds before getting this data. This way if the regular comm jumps out for a second it won't be convenient for someone else to jump in just to see this info, but in the first 30 seconds of the game there isn't anything useful in that info anyway.
I'm sorry you think I'm a noob.
Yes, status works.
if you think kills mean anything in ns you are a n00b tbh.

Thanks
I think it's cute =3
Just like blood will NEVER be in NS?
Hmm I thought you guys would have learned by now to not try and predict Flayra's actions. Its worth a try to tell him you think NS would be better with a scoreboard. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

Well, thank you =)
Yes I know...it's really hard to see because it's a hi-res pic. If you want a better view of it set it as your background.
The moral of the story is - It doesnt matter if you are on the team who is getting most kills, it doesnt mean you will win, and on that note, im not fussy about scoreboard there or not, it wouldnt make much difference anyway.

Well let's see...I said don't flame me saying "this will demote teamwork and promote rambos", calling it "old news", and that I just wanted this for my own personal use.
What does this have to do with the good side of my psyche? (or maybe there's another definition of "ego" I have no idea about)
In any case...I myself could care less about my "ego" =)
