Executable Out Of Date..

<div class="IPBDescription">bleh.</div> i tried a search and didnt seem to find what i was looking for.. anways.. my question is what do i need to install other than natural selection itself..i didnt see any other updates besides the server updates (on the downloads page of natural-selection.org) i cant join any servers because it says my executable is out of date..any help would be appreciated, thanks.

    You updated HL??(or CS retail)

    If so, download the latest patch for HL/ CS retail and patch.

    Latest HL (WON) - 1.1.1.0 patch
    Latest CS Retail - 1.0.0.5 patch

    Seems like you have to reinstall, I remember a few handful of MODs where they had this problem and a full reinstall of HL/ CS Retail fixed it.

    i just realised you said the updated ver. of halflife was 1.1.1.0....i have 4.1.1.1, where can i get the 1.1.1.0??

    ill try reinstalling if this isnt the culprit, thanks for the help so far.

    i think you may have a virus....

    If you join a server and you see that something has been modifed...then its highly possible you have a virus.

    huh, weird, i can play counter strike with NO problems and my halflife isnt updated..and i tried getting a halflife updater that updates it to whateer is current and it says the language is english and that its not the same language as the halflife im curenlty running, and then exits..but i have all english halflife..weirdness..

    ill scan for a virus also, but i dont think, and hope, i dont have one.
