IN THE MATRIX RELOADED!
You all probably thinking this is another theory thread. YOU'RE WRONG! AHAHAHAH *ahem*

The gate controlers of zion always bugged me a bit, because they were in a really high tech control room with loads of slidey, holographic buttons, while the commanders were still drwaing on paper with felt tips.

THEN I NOTICED THEY WERE INSIDE A MATRIX PROGRAM! Yes! they're hooked up to chairs, that's how they're so advanced.

P.S, the male gate controler looks and sounds a lot like the person who played Jango Fett in star wars attack of the clones.

I'm saying in the Zion gate control office, they have a mini matrix that controls the access and stuff to Zion.

I realise that it's obvious now... but the bit where you see the chairs is only a few seconds long. Maybe i blinked, fell asleep or went to the loo each time i've seen it before

Big deal. The training programs are also mini matrixes.

Took me like 2 seconds first time I watched the movie to get it.

You see the ship in the "white" room, right? Notice how it looks like the regular ship only completely white? Yeah, they didn't just do a paint job on it.

    Here's something.

In Matrix Reloaded, a couple of Merovingian thugs are leading away this Arabic looking guy. In one of the Matrix Revolutions (Theatrical trailer) trailers, you see the crazy watch guy from Enter the Matrix, a female and the same arabic guy. I think the Merovingian...some thing something

OP: Uh... no [excrememt]? It's another version of the Construct program, the same one they made use of in the first movie a fair bit.

Presumably. I know that Monica Bellucci makes a reappearance as Persephone in Revolutions - I saw an advert for this film and a clip showed her looking heartstoppingly beautiful as usual. So perhaps her man also makes a reappearance.

You can check the cast list for revolutions on their main site. he's in it. So is the woman. Doesn't look like The Twins are though (they're the best bad guys in anything. ever.)

Oh poo! I loved them! I wanted them in this film too.

I think what got to me most came from them appearing in some woodworking programme here in England, with Carol Vorderman. Like, they could beat the crap out of you, then build you a nice MDF coffin to bury you in!

    lol

there is one thing that always bugged me about the matrix, but its bordering on the PG13 rule of the forums. Its kindopf relating to the "if you die in the matirx you die in real life" but more... intimate.

if you see what i mean

    Want to understand the Matrix?

Read The Invisibles by Grant Morrison.

... On second thought... if you want to understand The Invisibles a bit better, try watching The Matrix.

Yeah, I never quite understood how you could take a "mental" beating and have blood spurt out your mouth in real life.
I mean I guess the reason they did that was because it wouldn't be much of a movie if the guys could never die joining the matrix.

I think even if it were feasibly possible to make a matrix as the one in the movie, you couldn't die in it.
Hence, everybody run over by buses and hit by meteorites in the matrix would just get up and shake it off. They would all eventually die of old age.

I don't think so. You see them in ghost form being thrown away from the blast. This means they went into ghost form before the explosion.

Though, they might as well be dead since we won't see them in revolutions.

If you watch, they go flying and then revert to their ghost form, which is how they heal.

Watching Reloaded right now, 4th since Friday. The twins just died.

They got killed in Reloaded dork. What did you have a concussion when you watched it?

PS I was watching MTV and I saw what I thought was a comercial for Revolutions but it went on for 5 minutes and it was a whole fightscene, I got so **** cause they just ruined what looked like a really cool scene, the hell is the point of seeing that kinda stuff before the movie comes out?

If you had a construct, where you could put anything you wanted in it? What would you put in it?

I think I would make like a swimming pool of naked hot chicks that want to do me.
