<div class="IPBDescription">HAM & EGG vs THE WORLD</div> the PUG team EGG, was recently formed,

and we had a fun idea, about having bolth food clans play a large scail scrim, tourny agaisnt any clans who wish to challenge,

its FOOD vs ALL

ill be talking to HAMBONE leader of ham clan about what would be a good server to use, if you would like to challenge us, join #eggburg or #hamburg we will likly find you and set u up with info there.

this is preumptive a server has not been selected yet, but shouldnt be to hard to obtain a server that can support 20+ people for a single scrim...

(something like 10vs 10 or 12vs12, each team comprized of 2 clans/pug's of equil members
thats the only rules)

probably saturday or sunday this scrim would occur and HLTV should be provided for any viewers, intrested.

Should be fun, its a EFFORT to restimulate NS

Not sure if there will be any sort of prizes, possibly spacemoogle can ssupply the winning teams with FREE PIE (no promises tho)

Dude, how would taking 10 members from EGG and HAM (umm.... yeah) vs. two other clans who have probably never even played together in 10v10 form (which is largely unbalanced in favor of the marine side) supposed to 'restimulate' NS?

First off, EGG and HAm have never played together before, with the acception of possibly 1 member...
secondly i agree 10vs10 or 12v12, would be marine slanted (i agree there) however... if its so slanted why do pub servers alow up to 10, or even 15 players on 1 team....

why not in a scrim.

and it will help ns, in the fact that NS players might actuly have fun insted of the same stagnent match you see everywhere else.

I've seen 2 HAM members own an entire team of good players by themselves. Two of them. Supposing it's 5 HAM and 5 EGG against a team of pub players who have never played together as an organised team, it's going to be a very, very short match.

Pub servers allow a lot of players because there is less teamwork invovled. Keep in mind the average pub team has CRAP marine players that can't aim or advance, so you get really long and boring stalemates. However, if you have good marines I guarentee alien ownage.

With large teams, what happens is that the marines have so much firepower and so many cheap upgrades from the arms lab, so much building potential, is that they dominate easily.

Case in point, THE HAMPTONS, all you get are skilled marines and all you get is pure alien slaughter. It's really weird, on large marine games aliens take 10000x times more teamwork than marines.

Im not suggesting we face nub teams, we will likly face a top ten clan, ir, xen, cri, eR, e, venom, ect

deffinatly not pushover clans in the slightest

anyway its just an idea, im not sure it will happen till i speak to hambone about it tommrow.

I think it's intended to be fun... people would try strats that would never happen otherwise.... like the mass suicide to instill fear in your opponents strat...

It's meant to generate some interest to a game that seems to be floundering a little...

its an atempt to give back to the fans of ns, and league play that were robbed of such good matches, hopefully we can offer the same sort of epic battle a top cal match would offer... or a top cal match that got cancled due to clans leaving.... i know i wanted to see several cal matches that never happend.

Well I think you guys are a pretty good pug team, though I do remember taking out your team of 5 skulks during a base rush in the pug game yesterday, yay for my full shottie clip. *whistles innocently* Just get some more pratice and offer to match HAM instead of playing with them, that's where the fun is. What is this 10 v. 10 stuff you are talking about. *confused look*

regarding scrims, you cannot learn much about a clan from them because 1) clans usually don't use their top string in them, 2) clans don't usually use their best strats in them, and 3) clans don't have their best players fade, jp, etc. all the time.

Wage 1-1ed cri and Exigent in scrims.

Doesn't mean wage is as good as cri or exigent.
