Probs Changing My Forum E-mail

I'm trying to change my e-mail on the forums so I can get updates for NS (Hotmail sucks). When I put the new e-mail addy in, and click the button, it just refreshes really fast and does nothing? I have a firewall on my router (linksys) and NIC (Norton Internet security). I disabled the Nortons Firewall and tried it again but it did the same thing. Could my router firewall prevent this? I know some sites tell you to turn your Firewall off when changing something like e-mail or other things; but usually my router doesn't prevent it but NIC does. It says that I will be logged out and get an e-mail to confirm my new e-mail "Proceeding with this action will log you out. It is strongly recommended that you reset your password before changing your email address if you are unable to remember your password." but it doesn't do anything like that.

I've been experiencing this problem for months (ever since comcast took over attbi in my region). I have posted here and pm'd moderators more than once, and even did a search (which itself is unreliable, so I could have missed a fix).

This HAS to be a very common problem. Could we get this pinned?

Could a mod look into the problem for us to see if it's something on our end or on the forums end?
